1. Who we are

This online store is operated by ALFA BIS BV, trading as c'est interdit, with its registered office at Nijverheidskaai 2, 9040 Gent, Belgium, enterprise number 0871.088.011, VAT BE 0871.088.011 ("we", "us"). You can reach us at info@cestinterdit.com or +32 (0)475 49 12 62.

2. Scope

These terms apply to every order placed in our online store. By placing an order, you accept them. The version in force on the day of your order applies to that order. Our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy form part of these terms.

3. Products and prices

We describe and photograph our products as accurately as we can. Colours may look slightly different depending on your screen.

All prices are in euros and are the same in every country. For deliveries within the EU, they include VAT at the rate of the country of delivery. For deliveries outside the EU, no VAT is charged, but import duties and taxes may be due on arrival (see our Shipping Policy). Shipping costs are shown separately at checkout before you pay. If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

4. Your order

The contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. We may cancel an order, for example when an item turns out to be out of stock; in that case we let you know and refund you in full.

5. Payment

You pay with one of the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers; we never see or store your full card details.

6. Delivery

We deliver to the countries offered at checkout, at the address you give, within the times set out in our Shipping Policy, and at the latest within 30 days of your order. The risk of loss or damage passes to you when the parcel is delivered.

7. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you may withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason within 14 days of the day you, or someone you name, receive the goods. If an order is delivered in several parcels, the 14 days start when you receive the last one.

To withdraw, let us know before the 14 days are over with a clear statement, by email to info@cestinterdit.com. You may use the model form below, but you don't have to. Then send the items back within 14 days of that message, as described in our Refund Policy.

We refund everything you paid, including the standard delivery cost, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method you used. We may wait until we have received the items back, or until you have shown proof that you sent them, whichever comes first. Return costs are set out in our Refund Policy. You are responsible for any loss in value caused by handling the items beyond what is needed to check their nature, characteristics and fit.

8. Legal guarantee

All products come with the two-year legal guarantee of conformity under Belgian law. If a product is faulty or not as described, let us know within two months of noticing it, and we will repair or replace it or, if that is not possible, reduce the price or refund you.

9. Your account

If you create an account, keep your login details private. You are responsible for orders placed with your account, unless it was used without your fault.

10. Intellectual property

All content in our store, including photographs, texts, designs and the c'est interdit name and logo, belongs to ALFA BIS BV or its licensors. You may not use it without our written permission.

11. Liability

We are not liable for indirect damage, such as loss of income or opportunity, arising from the use of our store or products. This does not limit our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, including for intent, gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

12. Personal data

We process your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Complaints and disputes

If you have a complaint, email us at info@cestinterdit.com and we will look for a solution with you. If we cannot agree, you can turn to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (consumentenombudsdienst.be).

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Without prejudice to the mandatory rules that protect you as a consumer, including your right to bring a claim before the courts where you live, disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Gent.
